Homecoming.

I didn't even realize how un-fun a dance could be. Bad music, sweatiness, a need to breathe that was not fufilled...just bad. I mean, I guess it COULD have been worse. It was moderately fun a few times. But the PRE-Homecoming was terrific.

Connor, Riley, the Lauras, Ashley, Mary Jane, Olivia, Hannah [Connor's girlfriend], and I all went to the very fancy and gourmet restauraunt of Olive Garden. You know those horribly obnoxious high-schoolers that you see sometimes at the mall or a restaurant? Well, we were those children last night. It was great. Plus, we had basically the best waiter in the known universe. Honestly? I cannot even begin to convey to you how wonderful he was. We gave him a $24 tip and a bunch of hugs before we left. We still had about 1 hour and a half to kill, so we went to the mall where Ashley bought me some last-minute tights to go under my dress [which I ended up not even wearing, so now I have to pay Ashley back $20 for nothing]. We then ran around the basically empty parking lot of the mall singing David Bowie and jumping from parking space to parking space. Guess how we got to Homecoming? A bus. That's right. A city bus.

Sadly, we arrived at Homecoming and all the fun was just killed. Oh well. It was a good time while it lasted.
